2. A brief history of reflexology in different cultures;

3. The Concept of Health and Illness in Thai Medicine;

4. Concept of Vital Energy and the Channels through which it flows;

5. The energy lines in the feet and legs;

6. Relationship between energy channels and myofascial lines;

7. The main muscles and bones of the foot and leg and their palpation;

8. Relaxation techniques for the feet before therapy;

9. The use of the technique in specific cases of foot dysfunction;

10. The use of the technique in reflexology dysfunctions;

11. Acupressure points on the foot;

12. Myofascial release of the plantar fascia;

13. Indications and Contraindications of the technique;

14. Sequence for applying the technique.

.::ABOUT THE TEACHERS::.

KATE CHULALUCK SETTHAKORN – Administrative Director of ITM School , Kate is a senior instructor at the school founded by her father. In addition to teaching Thai massage and reflexology courses, she is a member of the board of directors of the Spa Council of Thailand, where she serves as vice-president and gives lectures at symposia and seminars around the world. She holds a degree in Economics from Chiang Mai University , Thailand, and an MBA in International Business from Geneva, Switzerland . Currently, Kate dedicates herself to teaching at the school she manages and international courses in various countries, as well as studying for a degree in Traditional Medicine in Chiang Mai.

LETÍCIA KOROSUE - Physiotherapist , postgraduate student in Osteopathy , specializing in kinesiotaping, dry needling and osteopathic manual therapy, studying imbalances and pain linked to structural levels and visceral causes.

Shiatsu therapist with a family tradition, trained in Thai Massage and Reflexology by the Dharma Institute and certified by the ITM School, and in Thai Massage on a Massage Table by the ITM School of Chiang Mai, Thailand, which she represents.

She works providing services and monitoring courses at the Dharma Institute in Florianópolis, in addition to teaching Thai massage courses on a massage table throughout Brazil.

DIEGO CARLOS MARQUETE , physiotherapist and yoga instructor, postgraduate student in Acupuncture and Postgraduate in Phytotherapy. Specialization in Temporomandibular Disorder.

Thai Massage instructor certified by the International Training Massage -ITM- in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Studied Thai Massage at the WAT PHO TRADITIONAL THAI MASSAGE SCHOOL where he completed the 365-hour Professional Thai Massage course, trained at the SUNSHINE SCHOOL in OsteoThai, and is a student of masters AJARN SINCHAI , with whom he studies privately, and masters PICHEST and KAM THYE CHOW with whom he began his Thai Massage training; also trained in CHI NEI TSANG - Chinese Abdominal Massage.

Training in Neuromeningeal Neural Mobilization and Peripheral Nerve Mobilization by the BARRAL INSTITUTE (USA), Level I and II training in Visceral Mobilization by the BARRAL INSTITUTE (USA), training in Fasciatherapy by the INSTITUT DE THÉRAPIE MANUELLE PARIS, Craniocervical Biomechanics and Temporomandibular Physiopathology - TMJ Dysfunctions and Orofacial Pain – DR. MARIANO ROCABADO (Chile).
